Blowsight - Winter Show Mercy (Thank You)

Blowsight have been together since the late summer of 2003 and have been moving forward ever since they played their very first show in Stockholm, Sweden. They play fresh, melodic and powerful rock music. Their song This Pain is just one of the examples of how good they are.

Their new song called Winter Show Mercy (Thank You) is out now!

The song was inspired by a conversation lead singer Nick Red had with a homeless person named Björn while buying him a cup of coffee just before Christmas. “Something that most of us will never experience is the humiliation of not even being recognized, being completely ignored by people that pass you by as if you didn’t even exist” states Nick. “Björn lost his wife three years ago and after that, it all just went downhill for him. While he admittedly needs shelter, food, or someone’s spare change; what he wants more than anything is for people just to acknowledge him even if they can’t spare a dime. The man is still a human being!”

After his experience, Nick Red stayed up all night long writing Winter Show Mercy (Thank You). He recorded the song over the next few days, and immediately handed it over to his label reps for release.

100% of net proceeds resulting from downloads of the song will be donated to charity in an effort to help the homeless.

Winter Show Mercy (Thank You) may be previewed and purchased from the following locations:

Introducing: A Breach Of Silence

There's one more great metalcore band from Australia and it's called A Breach Of Silence. They actually combine metalcore with power. This combination really sounds great and distinguishes them from other bands in metalcore genre.
They released their debut album Dead or Alive in July 2012. All 11 songs on the album sounds great, but I would single out There Will Be Blood as my favorite.
Right now they're working on new video for Night Rider (watch "the making of" video here) and I can't wait to see it. And I can't wait to hear new music from this great band!

Heroes released their debut called We Can Rebuild in November 2010 and full length album The Compassion in September 2013. You can listen and buy their album here on their Bandcamp profile.
I highly recommend this band because they sound really good and honest.

Introducing: Set To Reflect

Post hardcore/metalcore band Set To Reflect released their first album called Artificial Sun two weeks ago. I listened the entire album and I definitely think they deserve more recognition and views on Youtube. They're founded in 2011 in Akron, OH and released their first EP called A New Path To Walk On in 2013. The band is composed of vocalist Tony McVaney, guitarists Alan Bryan and Matthew Scott, bassist Trevor Jenkins and drummer Will Green. They plan to continue touring as much as possible in 2014 so if they come somewhere near you, go check them out!
